About the Cosmographia Codex

The Cosmographia Codex is more than a newsletter—it’s a living literary record. A map of the books, ideas, and discoveries shaping Cosmographia Books, a small press with a big map dedicated to publishing soulful, boundary-pushing literature.

Founded in 2015 by Nina Alvarez, Cosmographia Books publishes works that explore the landscapes of human experience—self, soul, love, work, society, and history. Our catalog spans poetry, fiction, hybrid works, anthologies, and memoirs, from historically significant texts (Lesbian Love by Eve Adams) to contemporary voices that challenge, unearth, and inspire.
